Some more very sad news….

After several days of attempting to reach Jack Stevenson regarding the death of Dan Bova, I just learned that he passed away on May 18, 2013 at the UPMC – Shadyside Hospital.  I became alarmed when his home phone was disconnected, his cell immediately went to voice and his new email account bounced back.  Knowing that he had some health issues, I did a couple of Google searches. I came across his obituary.  I don’t have any details but will attempt to find out.

John H. Stevenson, 57, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, in UPMC Shadyside hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1955 in Latrobe, a son of Billie Stevenson and the late Robert H. Stevenson. He was a graduate of Greater Latrobe High School class of 1973 and Bloomsburg College with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 1977. He was employed as a Regional Distribution Manager for Hearst Corporation. John enjoyed golf, fishing and stock market analysis. He is survived by his mother, Arena (Billie) Eldridge Stevenson, of Unity Township; three brothers, Robert H. and his wife, Nora, of Frederick, Md., Jim and his wife, Mary, of Davidson, NC., and Rick, of Greensburg; and five nephews and nieces, Robert, Elizabeth, and John, of Frederick, Md., and Jennifer and Trevor, of Davidson, N.C.  Online condolences and guestbook can be found at http://www.hartman-grazianofuneralhome.com.

Another great guy who loved the fraternity and the brotherhood.  The memories are endless.  RIP – Mel…..
